Can I deliver other ampoules by Lasemd?
Using ampoules that aren't designed for laser delivery may cause irritation of the skin due to higher than normal absorption of preservatives & excipients, the traditional ampoules also doesn't have nanoparticle size & hence may not pass through the microchannels.
Is the use of Lasemd ampoules limited to laser-assisted delivery?
Lasemd ampoules have a higher bioavailability & penetration even after laser micro-channels close, patients are advised to use rest of ampoules after the treatment to top-up the benefit.
Are there any side-effects?
No, an expected mild transient redness & swelling is normal & will subside rapidly, the doctor may choose to apply topical moisturizer or corticosteroid for convenience.
What to expect after Lasemd treatment?
Skin glowing effect, cleared pigmentation, reduced fine lines & younger skin, some skin crusting may happen within 5-7 days depending on type of treatment & skin condition.
Is there any pain associated with Lasemd treatment?
Lasemd treatment requires no anesthesia, it is easily tolerated by most patients due to microbeam diameter of 100 µ, warm feeling with minor pin tingling is expected & normal.
Does the coagulation zone block the cosmeceutical delivery?
Lasemd forms reservoirs that are filled with cosmeceuticals upon administration, walls of reservoirs are not coagulated & so it doesn't block absorption by surrounding tissues.
How many sessions needed in Lasemd Program?
Lasemd program depends on skin condition, the doctor usually decides a number from 3-5 sessions with 2 weeks separating each session.
Can I use Lasemd for younger patients with no skin problems?
